Adam: Something that I do in such cases is simplify a bit and either use the majority chord for the entire measure, or, make the chord change a little prematurely on beat 3 to have only the measure split into 2 chords instead of 4.
Still pleasing to the ear and saves on crowding the measure. Hope that helps.
Adam: Unfortunately this is the only way to do it for now.
Will definitely make a note of this though as something to consider optimising in the future.
